Diversity and Our Services

At ADSTV, we respect the differences and the unique needs of individuals and groups who are from the same or different cultures. Staff members are expected to address the needs of clients and their families with cultural / diversity competency. ADSTV supports the staff members in developing and maintaining cultural / diversity competency.

All community members are welcome at ADSTV. We respect the diversity in the local community and are aware that our clients will bring specific needs related to gender, gender identity or sexual orientation, ability, culture, language or other needs.

We are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual and transgender positive.

If our programs cannot address the specific needs of clients or callers, then we redirect callers to the appropriate resource in the community.

ADSTV staff members participate in training and ongoing staff development in order to better understand the issues that all clients and family members bring to us. ADSTV has an ongoing commitment to the development of new skills in the assessment and treatment of substance abuse and/or problem gambling for clients with diverse needs.
