London CAReS

The Outreach Program through Addiction Services of Thames Valley is part of the London CAReS (Community Addiction Response Strategy) funded by the City of London.

This is an outreach program for the street involved downtown core population and all are welcome! The focus is on removing barriers to assist people in moving towards greater health, wellness and stability. Services include assessment, treatment planning and referrals to other addiction and non-addiction agencies. London CAReS Outreach component takes the ADSTV office to the individual.

London CAReS is an integrated strategy to address the needs of individuals living with the effects of poverty, homelessness, addiction and mental illness in the communities in which they live.

Program goals include:

• improving health outcomes for those living with addiction
• reducing the incidence of homelessness in London
• enhancing the quality of life and business prosperity in downtown/priority areas
